Lack of resources – no budget for gender issues, no personnel, no committee responsible for gender equality (Брак (недостача) ресурсів – не має бюджету на гендерні питання, не має відповідного персоналу, комітету, які б відповідали за гендерну рівніст)

We know that any activity requires resources, issue of gender equality at the University is not an exception. But the University as a budget institution has no funds to implement gender policies at a sufficient level. What do you suggest to solve this issue?

From my point of view there are following possible ways to solve the problem:
1. To organize an events, meetings, speaking corners which will bring the problem to the light. In that way there are possibilities to make a contact with investors, which can help to solve the issue with money.
2. Raise a petition to government, describe the problem and try to lobby the investment of budget funds into the problem.

In this situation one of the possible ways to find a good solution could be to provide educational and enlightenment activities aimed at raising awareness about gender equality’s principles, incl.: a) creative informative campaigns with jokes and posters, interesting lectures with integrated gender equality information blocks, interactive workshops, b) trainings on gender-related topics and discussion panels for staff and students and c) promotion of a culture of equal responsibilities in the family
